About Colleen M. Terry, Esq.
I am a lifelong New Yorker, growing up on the South Shore of Long Island. In 1999, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from University at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences degree. Next, I was off to Brooklyn Law School. After Graduating BLS in 2002, I embarked on a career Litigating Civil cases in New York State Courts, ensuring injured New Yorkers received the maximum benefits for healthcare from Insurance Policies they paid into, sometimes for decades.
With over 20 years’ experience practicing Law, I am committed to Personal Service, Professional Quality and Overall Excellence. My Mission is to provide unmarried couples, single professionals and solo business owners with Life & Legacy Plans that fill the gaps in the legal protections of the unmarried & Solo business owner, maximize benefits for unmarried, cohabitating couples, ensure each client maintains control over important life decisions in the event of illness, injury, incapacitation or death, and help safeguard a business’ ability to remain viable in the event of the owner’s illness, injury, incapacitation or death.
I am a proud Member of the New York State Bar Association; the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women, the Richmond County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Richmond Women’s Trial Lawyer Association
